I’m here today to bring you a super short and quick review with Lip Swatches of the Limited Edition Pomegranate Holiday Lipstick Duo from 100 Percent Pure in the shades Rose Gold & Red Gold. I actually picked up this duo last year with their Rose Gold Palette, which I reviewed HERE 😍. I’ve been rocking Red Gold every time I want to get into the holiday spirit because it’s basically Christmas encapsulated in Lipstick form and once you see my swatch photo, you’ll know why! In preparation for the upcoming Black Friday & Cyber Monday sales, I’m going to be posting mini reviews of products to help you narrow down your shopping list after you see products in action. AND be on the lookout for my exclusive Black Friday Green Beauty Sales and Shopping Guide post that I’m putting the final touches on! 🛒🛍️💝🎄✨ Lip Swatches Lip Swatch of LE Red Gold Lipstick by 100 Percent PureRed Gold: This LE lipstick is from their Pomegranate lipstick line and like all 100 Percent Pure makeup, this lipstick shade is derived from actual fruit pigments with a bit of Mica for added shimmer! Red Gold is a surprisingly wearable shade of red (and this is coming from a gal who isn’t really comfortable rocking most red lipsticks) because it’s a medium depth shade, with just a touch of sheerness to make it more wearable & the added silver & gold shimmer just makes it super flattering😍👍! I honestly can’t think of a more classic & fun shade for the holidays & New Year celebrations! Any time I want a little pick-me-up, I reach for this shade! The shimmer makes it look almost as glossy and glowy as a lip gloss in certain lighting. I can feel the shimmer particles at first when I apply it and then it seems to settle into a creamy, lightweight lipstick formula. 100 Percent Pure Rose Gold LE LipstickRose Gold: Rose Gold has been one of my favorite lipsticks of 2019 (I purchased this duo last year when it released) because it is an absolutely gorgeous, demure nude-rose with gold shimmer that is much softer than the overt shimmer in the Red Gold shade. It’s the perfect shade for daytime, it brings life to my face, it matches everything, & it has just enough unique-ness to bring about a softer side of the Holiday season. This is the shade you’ll wear to the office, work-related holiday parties, to take your kids on outings, & to rock some holiday magic without sporting a full on red lip! I was afraid this shade would wash me out and be too pale, but it’s the perfect level of medium depth! And would look absolutely stunning on such a variety of skin tones, just like Red Gold! Final Thoughts: I have to say, 100 Percent Pure hit it out of the park with this LE Holiday Duo & I’m so, so glad they decided to bring it back this year! Each shade smells faintly of Berries, like all of the 100 Percent Pure lip products I’ve tried in the past. The Pomegranate lipstick formula is soft, lighter than other lipstick formulas in my collection, but is still moisturizing. And the fact that they have fruit pigments truly makes them a one-of-a-kind makeup offering in the green beauty realm! Price: $38 for the duo, which is a great deal (in 100 Percent Pure price standards) because each Pomegranate lipstick usually costs $29 each. Right now, they’re having amazing sales where they offer many products for $10 each after you put $45 worth of regularly priced items in your cart!
